Xilinx, Inc. (NASDAQ: XLNX) today announced immediate availability of the latest edition of its quarterly Xcell Journal magazine at http://www.xilinx.com/publications/index.htm, the first to be available as a downloadable PDF. The issue celebrates the 20th anniversary of the popular Xilinx publication and includes a retrospective on the past two decades of Xcell Journal from its first publisher, Peter Alfke.
The cover story of the latest issue looks at the variety of ways FPGAs are enabling innovation in the automotive industry, particularly in driver assistance applications. Other articles look at the development of video applications based on Xilinx® Spartan®-3 and Virtex®-5 platforms.
