SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Xilinx, Inc. (Nasdaq: XLNX) today provided a revised sales forecast for the December quarter.
-- Sequential quarter sales are now expected to be down 9% to 12%. This is a revision from previous guidance that called for sales to decline 3% to 8% sequentially. -- Weaker sales during the quarter are driven primarily by a decline in large customer business in the Communications end market. -- Gross margin is expected to be approximately 65%. This is a revision from previous guidance of approximately 64%.
