President & Chief Executive Officer Xilinx, Inc.

Moshe Gavrielov serves as president and CEO of Xilinx. He is responsible for formulating the company’s overall strategy, vision and focus necessary for Xilinx to continue its pace of rapid growth and expansion.

Gavrielov brings 30 years of executive management and engineering experience with semiconductor and software companies to his position at the helm of Xilinx. Before joining Xilinx in January 2008, he served as executive vice president and general manager of the fast-growing verification division at Cadence Design Systems. Before that, Gavrielov spent seven years as CEO of Verisity, Ltd., where he grew the company from a $4M start-up, taking it through its initial public offering (IPO) in 2001, to a $70M per year publicly-traded company, ultimately acquired by electronic design automation leader Cadence in 2005.

Previously, Gavrielov spent nearly ten years at LSI Logic Corp., where he served in a variety of executive management positions, including executive vice president for the $1.3B products group, senior vice president of international markets, general manager for Europe, and general manager of the ASIC division. Gavrielov began his career in engineering and engineering management at National Semiconductor and Digital Equipment.

Gavrielov earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in computer science from the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion) in Haifa, Israel. He possesses five patents.

Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Ivo Bolsens is senior vice president and chief technology officer (CTO), with responsibility for advanced technology development, Xilinx research laboratories (XRL) and Xilinx university program (XUP).

Ivo Bolsens is senior vice president and chief technology officer (CTO), with responsibility for advanced technology development, Xilinx research laboratories (XRL) and Xilinx university program (XUP).

Bolsens came to Xilinx in June 2001 from the Belgium-based research center IMEC, where he was vice president of information and communication systems. His research included the development of knowledge-based verification for VLSI circuits, design of digital signal processing applications, and wireless communication terminals. He also headed the research on design technology for high-level synthesis of DSP hardware, HW/SW co-design and system-on-chip design.

Bolsens holds a PhD in applied science and an MSEE from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium.

Borneman joined Xilinx in 2008, bringing more than 25 years experience in human resources management and organizational development - and a proven track record in implementing the systems and processes needed to drive high performance organizations. Previously, Borneman served as corporate vice president of human resources at Cadence Design Systems, with responsibility for supporting the 2,300-employee global sales and field applications engineering organizations. Before that, Borneman was vice president of human resources for Tri Valley Growers. Borneman started her career as a human resources manager for SenSym, Inc.

Borneman holds a B.A. in psychology and an MA in organizational development and industrial psychology from Saint Mary's College.

In 2004, Cooney was promoted to his current position at Xilinx after more than nine years in senior management roles in IT and business development in EMEA.

Jon Olson is senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) at Xilinx, with responsibility for finance, tax, treasury and investor relations as well as mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he is also responsible for IT. Olson joined the company in 2005, bringing more than 25 years of financial management expertise to his position. Most recently, he served as vice president of Finance and Enterprise Services, Director of Finance at Intel Corp.

In addition, he is also responsible for IT. Olson joined the company in 2005, bringing more than 25 years of financial management expertise to his position. Most recently, he served as vice president of Finance and Enterprise Services, Director of Finance at Intel Corp.

While at Intel, Olson held a variety of senior financial positions, including: vice president, finance and enterprise services; director of finance; technology and manufacturing group controller; semiconductor products group controller; and system manufacturing group controller. Before that, he worked for four years at General Signal Corp.

Olson holds an MBA in Finance from Santa Clara University and a B.S. in accounting from Indiana University.

As senior vice president of the programmable platforms development group, Victor Peng leads a centralized global organization responsible for development and delivery of Xilinx flagship programmable platforms, including silicon, design tools, methodologies, IP, boards and enabling technologies.

As senior vice president of the programmable platforms development group, Victor Peng leads a centralized global organization responsible for development and delivery of Xilinx flagship programmable platforms, including silicon, design tools, methodologies, IP, boards and enabling technologies.

A seasoned semiconductor industry executive, Peng joined Xilinx in 2008 with more than 26 years experience developing and executing strategic plans and product roadmaps; managing multiple product development programs and global design teams; and working with customers, foundries, EDA partners and other key suppliers.

Before joining Xilinx, Peng served as corporate vice president of the graphics products group (GPG) silicon engineering with AMD, where he led the development of graphics processing units (GPUs) and multimedia products. He also served as a key leader for the company's central silicon engineering team supporting Graphics, CPU Chipset and Consumer Business Units. Previously, Peng held a variety of key engineering leadership roles at TZero Technologies, MIPS Technologies and SGI, where he managed and grew successful engineering teams. Peng began his engineering career at Digital Equipment Corp.

Peng earned a BSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M. Eng. in EE from Cornell University. He holds four U.S. patents.

Raja Petrakian serves as senior vice president of worldwide operations, chartered with manufacture and delivery of Xilinx products to the highest quality standards, while driving product cost reduction. Among his global responsibilities are manufacturing, supply chain management (fabrication through delivery), customer service, supplier relationships, purchasing, import/export compliance, new product introduction (NPI) operations, assembly sustaining engineering, and logistics.

Since joining Xilinx in 1995, Petrakian has held many key positions within operations, including processes and systems, production planning, and supply chain management – most recently, as vice president of supply chain management. Before that, he served as a research staff member at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center.

Petrakian earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in systems engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Ph.D. in industrial engineering and operations research from the University of California at Berkeley.

Ratford joined Xilinx in 2006 when the company acquired Accelchip, where he served as president and chief executive officer. Ratford became vice president of marketing, business development and silicon architecture for the processing solutions group (PSG) at Xilinx in 2006. In 2007, he was promoted to lead the entire PSG organization, as vice president and general manager. In 2008, he assumed an expanded role as vice president and general manager of the solutions development group (SDG), with responsibility for development and delivery of all Xilinx design tools, methodologies, IP and hardware platforms.

Before AccelChip, Ratford was vice president of marketing and sales at Virage Logic and chief operating officer for the embedded software division of Mentor Graphics. Ratford has held positions in sales, marketing and development at Mentor Graphics, Teradyne, Data General Corp and Raytheon Corp

Ratford holds a BSEE from Northeastern University.

Vincent Tong serves as senior vice president of worldwide quality and new product introductions. He is responsible for all aspects of quality assurance across Xilinx programmable solutions. His worldwide quality organization is chartered with driving continuous improvement of the company's corporate quality methodology for design, manufacture, training, measurement, and post-sale customer support for Xilinx products, and for reliability engineering of all product manufacturing technologies.

Vincent Tong serves as vice president of worldwide quality and new product introductions. He is responsible for all aspects of quality assurance across Xilinx programmable solutions. His worldwide quality organization is chartered with driving continuous improvement of the company's corporate quality methodology for design, manufacture, training, measurement, and post-sale customer support for Xilinx products, and for reliability engineering of all product manufacturing technologies.

In addition, Tong leads a global team to direct all new product introductions to achieve fastest time-to-market at the highest level of quality. Tong oversees the engineering teams responsible for test, package, assembly development, yield improvement and product engineering, in support of all new product introductions and mature products in production.

Tong also manages advanced technology partnerships, overseeing all quality control and qualification programs and directing all continuous improvement initiatives with wafer foundries, subcontractors and other key technology suppliers (e.g., substrate suppliers, assembly, DFT and DFM vendors, ATE and semiconductor manufacturing equipment manufacturers).

Tong joined Xilinx in 1990 after serving in a variety of development, design, fabrication technology, product and test engineering positions at Monolithic Memories and Advanced Micro Devices.

Tong holds a B.S. in engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed the executive development program at Stanford Business School. He holds seven U.S. patents.

Frank Tornaghi serves as senior vice president of worldwide sales, leading the company's extensive global network of direct sales personnel, including the technical sales organization, manufacturer's representatives and distributors. In addition, Tornaghi is responsible for worldwide service and support.

Upon joining Xilinx in February 2008, Tornaghi brought nearly 30 years of experience in sales, most recently as executive vice president of worldwide sales at LSI Logic, where he led an international team of over 300 sales representatives, application engineers, and customer support and service personnel. During his 22-year tenure at LSI, Tornaghi drove key initiatives that helped grow revenues from $50 million to $1.8 billion. Before that, he held sales and marketing positions with Synerteck Corp., a division of Honeywell, and American Microsystems.

Tornaghi holds a BSEE from California Polytechnic State University.

He joined Xilinx in 1999 and most recently was responsible for managing Xilinx’ platform strategy and architecture definition for next generation platforms. Previously, Rangasayee led the vertical markets and partnerships team that drove Xilinx’ vertical market strategy and business development efforts helping Xilinx diversify into new markets and expansion in existing markets. Rangasayee led multiple marketing campaigns and initiatives to establish Xilinx as an industry leader in key vertical markets. Additionally, Rangasayee managed Xilinx’ third party ecosystem.

Before joining Xilinx, Rangasayee held various engineering and marketing management positions at Altera Corp. and Cypress Semiconductor Corp.

Rangasayee has a Bachelor’s of Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal , India , an MSEE from Mississippi State University and completed the executive management program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has authored, published and presented globally in 70+ conferences, journals, and trade publications. Rangasayee holds more than 25 international patents.
